mp3 file not playing back

I have an i-Sound WMA/MP3 Recorder that allows one to record sounds from
MIDI, Internet broadcasts, streaming media (e.g. QuickTime Player,
Realplayer, Games, DVD Players...) and one's microphone. I do have got an
mp3 file but this file.mp3 does not sound at all. I can't play it back. I've
tried all above mentioned sources with the same result. Other mp3 files that
were copied from CD for example are playing well.
I have Windows XP Pro sp2, and Turtle Beach Riviera sound card.
Does anybody have any idea how to fix the problem?

Have you tried playing the MP3 file in WMP (Windows Media Player)?
Make sure you have MP3 and MID enabled.
Open WMP>Tools>Options>File types tab
