Copying a profile to a new user.

I have a notebook, which is running just fine, with all the apps i need/ e
mail configured etc etc, but i need to join it to a domain.

How can i preserve my existing profile, with a domain user account?

Are you in contact with the person who is the Domain Administrator?
I recommend you start by contacting that person to have them set up
a Domain User Account for you. There may be certain restictions required
that may or may not allow for copying all aspects of your existing account
profile exactly to the new Domain User Account profile.
The Administrator can also advise about setting up a Domain Computer
Account for your laptop and joining it to the Domain.
