I had the same problem a couple of months ago....my
solution:
The cd I was using was dirty, I just used another CD I
had...also I was using a very cheap motherboard PCChips
M810....anywayz, I changed CD's and everything worked...I
read somewhere on Microsoft, that usually the problem is
a hardware conflict....maybe you can boot into your other
OS you have, insert Win XP cd, and run the Compatibility
program, and see what it says.
