weird messeges

Whenever i run a virus scan for the first time, right in the middle a blue
messege pops up. It takes up the whole screen and says my computer will be
shutting down. I restart and the next time i run a scan it doesn't happen. It
also never comes up with a virus. Anyone have any idea what that messege is
all about?

Without the exact error message, No! Although it sounds as if the AV application
may be a cause or your machine has been compromised.
