runtime error !

I have melenium windows i noticed recently an error messege pops up daily
saying runtime erroe thenthe icons at desk top disappeared i have to reboot
the computer to regain windows. What is that error messege, a kind of virus?
i have updated Norton anti virus and no virus detected pls tell me how can
i get red of that error?

Disable active desktop. Runtime errors are usually web based errors.
