Cookies Problem

I'm having a problem on certain sites with cookies. No matter what I do, I
always get a message saying that cookies are not enabled and I must turn
them on to continue. Most site send me to tools -->Internet
Options -->Security tab and make sure I'm set to Medium Security Level
(which I am). Also thru messing around I've found the Privacy tab, which
really has all the cookie handling options. With buy.com I used the edit
button and set this site for allow all cookies, no good. I then set my
options to allow all cookies. Still no good...what else can I try? I even
downloaded Opera internet browser and I was having cookie problems with it
but I don't really want to start messing with that software so no changes
were even attempted.

I'm running WinXP pro
IE6
EZFirewall (I disabled the firewall during testing for cookies but it didn't
help, dunno if this would cause it)

Any Suggestions????

Thank you, I'll give it a try tonight. I don't think EZFW has any kind of
cookie settings (I've looked) but I'll double check it.
