Cookies disappear from files (deleted?)

I have to re-type my user names and passwords each time I revisit any site.

Any ideas why this is happening?

what browser are you using ? sounds like you have auto delete
configured when you close the browser down.
that wipes all the cookies .
you can also save the names and passwords .
