I have Window XP home. I used to have a cookie folder in document and setting.
Lately this folder disappears and could not locate it. What is causing this
problem and what can be done to correct this problem?.

thank you for your help. The second sugestion opened cookie window, but the
cookie file still can not be found in the document and settin / user/file!!

SWAG: You may have somehow set the Hidden attribute on your cookies folder.

Try this.

Click Start | Click Run | Type: %userprofile%\Cookies | Click OK |

Click the Folder icon up at the top on the Toolbar (it looks like a manilla
folder) to open the tree view.

Right click the Cookies folder in the left hand pane and click on
Properties.

On the General tab, if Hidden has a checkmark, click it until the checkmark
disappears.

Click OK.
