Converting Windows to Mac

Question on behalf of a friend!

Could someone please tell me if I can put Windows Access programmes on an
Apple Mac Laptop. Its yet to be obtained so dont know what the op system is
but assume its mac. Can you get acces for mac op systems. Please dont shoot
me down if its an obvious answer, "you dont know what you dont know"

Mac Office does not contain Access. However, there are Windows emulators for
Macs that will allow you to run the Windows version of Office. I don't know
what the performance hit is for the emulator.
 
If your "friend", yes we know too ashamed to admit that you want a Mac
(vbg), if they can wait the Mac will shortly be available with Intel Inside,
if I am not mistaken, so the Windows emulation will in fact be full blown
Windows.

I would check this, however I am sure I heard it somewhere, I hope it was
not part of one of those stupid Non-Disclosure thingies again.
 
lol it really is a friend, im not asking about erection problems!!! Anyway
thanks for the advice, its just he's a chance to buy a second hand lappy and
wants to know if my database will run on his laptop.
