Mac to PC desperate!!!

Hi all! My office has a brand-new MAC, I have a PC, and we also have 1
really old MAC that had FilePro on it, not sure of the version. This person
is fed up with her system and wants to move her DB info. into Access on her
home PC. Can a MAC version of FilePro be emailed or saved, and then dumped
into a PC Access program? Or can the FilePro DB be exported to MAC Excel,
converted to PC Excel then imported into Access. She has far too much info.
for her to simply input it all again, so we're trying to find an
alternative. please email any ideas to me:
(e-mail address removed)

Thanks very much! Diane Krebs

Hi Diane,

Have your friend open up FilePro on her system and try to determine if they
can export the data to a comma delimited (*.CSV) file. This would likely be
the easiest way of getting the data into an Access database.

Also, it is not a good idea to include a valid e-mail address with a message
posted on a public newsgroup. Spammers have software that can harvest e-mail
addresses from millions of posts each day. You can include an e-mail address
if you obscure it slightly, so that any human of reasonable intelligence will
be able to determine the actual e-mail address. I've shown an example below
for you.

The tables can be exported to a tab delimited file and then read into
Access.
Everything else will have to be redone.

Make sure that all the files are imported into the one Access database.
Filepro was, as the name implies, a program that deals with a single file
per "database".
