conversion of midi files

I downloaded free midi files for use on My Webspace. When I tried to upload
to my site, the address was in wpl format (which cannot be used) and I
received the following message:
Only the following sound file formats can be uploaded to your web site:
..mp3, .wav, .mid, .midi, .au, .ra, .rm.

How do I make the conversion?

A WPL files is a Windows Media Playlist and not an individual song.
Open the playlist using WMP and it should list the Midi files.

I saw that but do I use the simple address example: awe.mid when trying to
upload to my webspace? Or do I need to use the address of the Windows Media
Player and then specify which song I want?
Sorry for the ignorance, I'm rather new at this.

I am sorry, but I do not go to MySpace and am not familiar
with it. For people over 21, the site is mostly "taboo". Check
if the website has a Help or other support you can access.
