Control panel wont open?

Whenever i click on the control panel it does the loading icon then just
doesn't open. Could someone tell me what the problem might be. It has opened
in the past, but not any more

Based on my investigation, "Software Licensing" service must be running if
you want to open Control Panel in Windows Vista. Open Services.msc and make
sure that "Software Licensing" is started with an "automatic" startup type.

Go to Microsoft Knowledge Base (http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1).
In the 'for' field type in "Control Panel does not open". Find the problem
that matches yours in the search results. They will send you a 'hotfix' by
email.

Hi Stev0!

Has you installed Firebird application? If yes, then please delete, the
firebird.cpl from C:\Windows or System32

If not, the please try clean boot or see any other application if didnt add
some *.cpl to the control panel.
