Control Panel pops unexpectedly

Hi,

I run XP with Sp3. Recently I noticed the Control Panel was popped up
unexpectedly by itself. What could be the problem?

Thanks in advance!

There's really no way for us to know with so little information. What do you
have running in the background? What is the answer to The First Question Of
Troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what changed between the time
things worked and the time they didn't?

Hi Malke,

Thanks for reply. There were just Thunderbird/Adobe Reader/Trend Micro
running at the time when Control Panel pop up by itself. I disabled any
programs besides Trend Micro at Windows startup and rebooted the computer.
There is nothing changed between the time things worked and the time they
didn't. Any advice? I plan to do virus/spyware scan tonight.

Thanks again,

I really don't know - I've not seen this behavior before and I've seen a lot
of computers. When you do clean-boot troubleshooting (and probably you
should be more thorough with that), does Control Panel popup?
