Continuous Exclamation Sound

I have a user with a laptop running Windows XP Pro SP2. She is telling me
once in a while she will hear the windows exclamation sound from a her
laptop. The exclamation will play continuous and it will suddenly stop. I
look at her laptop and check the settings under sound and audio devices but
it does nto tell what cause the exclamation to play. This does not happen to
her all the time. Has anyone run into this problem or know what cause the
exclamation sound to play?

Open event viewer,locate the event/warning when this took place & get
more details...Click on the url associated in it,this opens kb help/support,
usually with a fix to it...
