content of file folders have disappeared

I have Windows Live Mail. Today after an email attempt failed, my ISP tech
had me remove their account, then re-add it. Whereupon, all messages in my
inbox, sent items, junk mail and deleted items folders disappeared. The tech
then had me do a systems restore, but that didn't help. Is there any way I
can get these messages back? Is there a file somewhere where they are stored?
Much appreciate any help.

Windows Live Mail will give you a warning that deleting an
account will delete all the folders and messages associated with
that account. I know that warning is in a relatively small font and is
easily overlooked. In my opinion, this was a terrible design decision
for the WLM developers to tie deleting an account with deleting
everything associated with that account.
Tech support folks who are used to telling users to delete and re-add
an account haven't yet come to grips with what that does in WLM.

Sorry, I don't know of any way to get those messages back.
