Contacts from Outlook 2002 to Windows Mail

JULIE KAPLAN

How do I transfer my contacts from Outlook 2002 to Windows Mail?

Also, can I still use my @msn.com e-mail address?? If so, how do I add it
to my e-mail addresses in Windows mail?

Thank you

A1. Export your OL contacts to a CSV file which you can then import into
Windows Contacts.

A2. Use the Configuration Settings on this page to set up for (e-mail address removed)
account in Windows Mail:

NB: Set Outgoing server (SMTP) to Port 587, not Port 25!

Windows Mail's new account wizard is hard-coded to reject (e-mail address removed)
and (e-mail address removed) addresses. When you enter your email address during setup,
use a dummy one (e.g., (e-mail address removed)). After you've finished, go back
and change the email address to the correct one.
