Contact management in Access -- the question of emails

S

Stephen Glynn

I understand how to send emails from Access and, with the help of this
newsgroup, how to send letters, too. Consequently, I'll have in the
database a record of my outward correspondence that I can sort by
contact or case or subject. This is what I want.

Now, to incoming correspondence.... I've found, at
http://virtualaw.dunsinane.net/ , a way of logging scanned documents in
Access; I've not looked at it in any detail but, in theory, that's my
incoming letters dealt with.

What about, though, incoming emails? Has anyone any experience of
logging in Access received emails and their locations so they can be
opened from there when I'm reviewing a case/client history? I'm not
asking how to do it (though if anyone wants to tell me, that would be
nice!); does anyone, though, have any idea where to start or know where
I could find the process discussed?
