I have "DELETED" a name and e-mail address (person changed their address)

entered the new address as a "NEW CONTACT"

when I attempt to enter addy in a new e-mail to them by typing a "J" (for
the first letter of their name) in the to box, I get both the old addy and
the new one.

The contact list ONLY contains their new addy.

How can I get rid of the old addy???
