Contact list problems

I have a colleque who has had problems with her contact
list. I fixed it all up with the correct settings in
Tools > Address Book > Tools > Options and in the
Contacts Properties and everything was working fine.
Now, if she clicks on TO: in a new message, she gets the
correct contact list. But, if she types in a person next
to TO: and clicks the Check Name icon, it can't find the
contact and asks if she wants to create it.
Please help.

What address lists are set for use in checking names?
