Outlook Constant password requests when Outlook is open

From time to time when we have Outlook open, we get a prompt box asking for account name and password. This can randomly be a few times a day, to several times an hour.
Its very annoying because I can be using an application and it just springs up repeatedly.

It is not machine specific - It happens to different machines in the office.


What could the reason be and how can I fix it?

Is there not a tick box to let you save the password when you enter it, underneath both the username and password box?

Yes. It still comes back on various computers, asking for a password whether the save password box is ticked or not. I've also tried every combination of clicking okay, cancel, or just closing the prompt.
