Constant Freezing

I updated my Windows XP Professional Edition using the
windowsupdate.microsoft.com ... and now my computer will not quit
freezing. It does it at random and it doesnt matter what im doing. Last
time it happened I was just reading an old e-mail on Hotmail and
everything just stops and never comes back. No errors or anything. My
computer works just fine if I uninstall all of the Windows Updates!

Whats going on and how do I make it stop freezing?

It is a good rule to test your system after each update is installed in
order to determine whether it has spawned any problems. Any noncritical
update that doesn't address your individual situation is probably not worth
downloading, in any case. Therefore, you may want to add back the updates
you really need (such as all critical/security updates) testing your system
as you go.

did you ever find out which "fix" was causing the
problem. My XP pro has been showing simular problems
when accessing the internet
