I have reinstalled the OS on this HD several times. I have completely wiped
the HD and wrote all 0's to the drive 3 times. I ordered a brand new OEM
WinXP CD thinking it was a problem with my older ones. Still these issues
continue to plague me. It crashes my games and closes IE and other programs
as well completely out of the blue.

Please help if possible!!!!!! Thnaks

Will,
I've attempted to download and update the .dll files from the link you
provided. However, when trying to do this the /windos/i386 folder advises it
is protected and needs a password.

Can you advise a way around this? Also, even though I have ran numerous
diagnostic programs on my HD that it could actually have a bad sector or
something causing my constant problems as described above??

Thanks for help!!
