Connection to server unavailable - sometimes

Greetings,

I recently set up Outlook and am trying to connect it to my AOL account.
I've check out the the FAQs and it kind of works. But I'm a having problem.
Sometimes Outlook will update my Inbox, such as this morning, or allow me to
move around e-mails within my AOL folders on Outlook. But at other times, it
gives me an error message that the "connection to the server is unavailable.
Outlook must be online or connect to complete this action."

I would understand it Outlook could never connect to the server. But how can
it connect sometimes and not others. By the way, when it says that it can't
connect, I can get online and check my AOL account via the Internet.

If it helps, I'm using a Wireless connection.

It might be an issue with AOL logging you out after a specific time.
Select the Inbox of the AOL IMAP account then File | Connect to ....

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, when I follow your directions, I get
the error message: "Unable to connect to server"

This is very odd since obviously I can connect to the server because I'm on
the Internet right now. I suppose it may have something to do with the fact
that I'm using a wireless connection.

Is there some type of security issue I need to deal with?

Again, it's strange because sometimes I am able to connect with the server,
although since yesterday morning, my Outlook has been completely cut off.
