connection problems

Dell laptop connected perfectly to network - excellent

Then today really slow download so re-started and got - limited or no
connectivity.

Says it can't renew ip address.

Have belkin wireless adsl modem/router.

Tried giving an ip address instaed of auto detect . 192.168.2.6
255.255.255.0 etc.

still no good.

any ideas?

Disconnected router from mains. re-started

All fine

Self fix
