Connection password not saved properly

Whenever I connect to the internet (XP Home, dial-up) I have to type in my
password. I have checked the box to save the password but it is not saved
correctly. From the length of what shows I would guess it is there twice.
Any suggestions?

Hi, George. The number of asterisks (stars) that you see has nothing to
do with the actual number of characters in your password. This is a
security feature.
