Connection icons have a lock attached

The High speed connections on my computer appear to have a lock on them.
What setting caused this lock? How do I remove it. I am using Windows XP
Home with recent update to SP2.
 
That just states that your XP firewall is on.

I'd recommend you leave it that way.
