Connection error

Running XP Home with a HP 6110 all in one printer
attached.

Getting the error message:

"An error occured communication with the scanning
device. Please ensure that the scanning device is
connected properly and test again.

Printer works fine. Any ideas???

Sorry folks, I should have done more research on the HP
web site before posting this message. I found some
documentation that just may help.
