When trying to connect to a Windows 2000 Pro PC from a
Windows 98 SE PC I get a request for \\Servername|IPC$
password. What is this and how do I get around it, I have
4 PC's with this problem? I am using a workgroup and not
a domain.

You must create a user on the Windows 2000 PC that has the same name (and
password, if one is used) to log onto the Windows 98 PCs.

Hello

Did you log on in Windows 98 using that account? Post here the credentials
of users of both machines.
