I often bring friends computers home to work on them. Update, delete old
files, remove soyware, etc. I usually connect their computer (PC) to a
monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc.

Is there an easy way to plug their PC or laptop into my laptop so I can
access their computer? Like just plugging a cable between them or something
simple like that?

TIA

assuming both computers have NICs, you just need a crossover cable. You may need to assign static IP addresses.

Hi

Networking the two computers would allow you to Transfer, Copy, Delete Files. If you
need to, Run, Install, and Uninstall programs you need to Network and then run a Remote
control program. http://www.ezlan.net/direct.html
