Confused by "Security Settings"

Walter R.

If I go to Internet Tools > Options > Security Tab > Custom Level, the panel
for "Security Settings" shows up.

I am lost because I do not understand most of the settings, such as "Run
Active X controls and plug-ins.

Where can I find a guide to this maze of non-intuitive settings?

Hi there,
One potential downside to securely configuring the Internet zone is that
some
web sites will not work properly until you add them to the Trusted sites
zone,
a process that some users find cumbersome and yet rewarding.
