confused about driver and MMC updates sequence

Hi,

I'm using the Radeon 9800 Pro 128 AIW card. As per instructions, I
uninstalled MMC 8.7, ATI control panel, Remote Wonder and ATI display
drivers before updating to the latest drivers and MMC. I did not uninstall
muvee (whatever that is) or Gemstar+.

During MMC8.8 installation, the Installshied told me that it could not find
the DVD Decoder and that DVD would not be installed. I guess I must have
removed the DVD decoder in the process..

So I installed the DVD decoder off the original Catalyst CD that came with
the card.

After installation, I show (in Control Panel -> Display -> Settings ->
Advanced -> Options) Catalyst version 03.10 and 2D version 6.14.10.6404,
Control Panel ver 6.14.10.5072.

Control Panel -> add/remove Programs lists ATI DVD Decoder ver 2.2.0.0. and
ATI MMC 8.8.0.0

Gemstar+ Help About says ver 1.0.0.44

My questions are:

1. Does the new MMC 8.8 include new versions of
DVD Decoder
Gemstar+

2. Do I have the latest versions of everything?

Thanks.

The latest ATI Catalyst and MMC versions do not contain updated DVD Decoder
and Gemstar+. You should not have to uninstall those two programs. They
can stay intact while you uninstall ATI Control Panel, Display Drivers and
MMC/Remote Wonder.

Thank you.

What are the latest versions of these the Decoder and Gemstar+ available for
download from ATI?
