TV Wonder Elite & MMC

Has anyone gotten the Elite to work with MMC? If so, which Catalyst/MMC
versions? I've tried several MMCs and can get "live" tv (only fair
quality, low sound), but can never get the "Personal Video Recorder" tab to
show up & can't schedule or "record now". Have ATI DVD decoder installed.
Like many others, don't particularly like the PowerCinema that came with the
hardware. Picture's decent, but the output of a AIW Radeon with MMC 8.8 is
very slightly better. From the reviews I saw for the card, expected much
better. Not being able to change disk path for PowerCinema captures is
unacceptable. Have several AIW already, so familiar with MMC; not going to
buy special software for the Elite. About ready to give up and return the
card...

I've been using the ATI MMC 9.15 "FULL" suite with Catalyst 6.8 drivers for
Windows XP. PowerCinema 3.0 that came with the ATI TV Elite is limited so I
didn't install it.

I have the ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 128mb AGP and the ATI TV Elite in the same
computer. Also using the ATI Remote Wonder Plus. Because I don't use the VOD
I disabled it in the Windows regedit. Also, disabled it for all connectors
in the ATI TV Player.

ATI MMC 9.15 has enabled the FM Tuner for the ATI TV Elite, Plus, Multiview
for viewing both TV Tuners at the same time.

In the ATI TV Player Channel List I have :

ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 - ATI AVStream Analog Capture 1 with Connectors
(Composite/S-Video)
ATI TV Elite - Theatre 550 Pro 1 with Connectors (Composite/S-Video)

Thanks, Ted, that helped *a lot*. I'd seen a lot of posts/forum entries
complaining about lack of mmc support. ATI told me any thing above 9.10
should work, but I'd tried 9.13 without luck. Thought I had heard about
problems with 9.15, so I hadn't tried that current of mmc. With you as an
inspiration, I cleared the ati stuff again & installed Catalyst 4.10 + MMC
9.15 for the Radeon VE + TV Wonder Elite pair. Works fine.

While I was on a roll, decided to try Catalyst 6.9 + MMC 9.15 with AIW 2006
+ TV Wonder Elite. Also works. Hmm, now I'm going to have to upgrade the
Radeon VE or battle for the new AIW that was supposed to go in one of my
machines... :)

One thing I noticed is that I don't seem to be able to move the TV window to
the second monitor. Normal? Workaround? Haven't researched this yet.

Should have done a quick query before I posted. See now that a lot of
graphic stuff is limited to primary monitor only. Oh, well.
