MMC 9.16 question

I reinstalled my o/s the other day from scratch, reformatted my hd, and
did a fresh install of winxp. Everything seems to work fine except a
small problem with the MMC 9.16 application.

The FM application seems to work okay, but the TV application is extremely
'sluggish' in terms of video and audio. When I start the TV application,
the video is choppy, almost like a few frames per second and the audio is
barely recognizable with a few words being heard every few seconds. It is
pretty much unusable.
If I right click in the TV window it takes a few seconds for the menu to
come up. Task Manager does not show any weirdness with high cpu usage for
mmc, but it sure feels that way.

My current setup is as follows:

Windows XP Professional w/SP2 (all windows updates)
SoundBlaster X-Fi Platinum
ATI All-in-Wonder X600 Pro
Catalyst 7.11 drivers

When I installed MMC 9.16, I first installed DAO/MDAC, then DVD/DTV
Decoder. For the third application, I installed 'Complete Avivo Package'
7-11_xcode_54435.exe (dated 11/21/2007, from Catalyst 7.11).
On the MMC 9.16 download page, the third application shows 'Encoder
Package' 6-12_xcode_38463.exe (dated 12/13/2006, 6.12).
The fourth install was 9-16_mmc_enu.exe

Should I have used the 6-12_xcode_38463.exe file instead of
7-11_xcode_54435.exe ?? Maybe this is the reason for the TV application
weirdness?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks.

Looks like the AVIVO is for X1xxx cards only. So yes.

I've had a faint audio stutter in TV/DTV after installing MMC. Reinstalling
Audigy 2 drivers fixes it. AIW9600XT & HDTV Wonder. Audio drivers seem to
get corrupted about 20% of the time installing MMC. They won't show a
problem in Device Manager though. May be because of the HDTV Wonder so YMMV.
Never really used the FM very much.
