Hello

How can I access administrative shares from Win98/me
which is login with the user having *user* preveliges
in Win2k computer.

When I access an share such as C$, it asks password
for the resource C$, what should I provide the password
here, none of my administrator password works .

you must be logged onto the win98 machine with a user account that has the
same username/password as the administrator account on the 2k machine. or,
you can create a new account on the 2k machine that has the same
username/password as the 98 machine's user, then create an additional share
of the c drive, giving this user access. however, it is not a good idea to
share drive roots. also, make sure you adjust the ntfs permissions on the
w2k machine so that the 98 user can only access what he/she needs.
the best solution of all, though, is just to share only the folders on the
w2k machine that the 98 user needs.
