Computers wakes up from startup within seconds

I'm having a problem with a newly build computer where when I put it in
standby, it goes into standby then immediately comes right back out.
I've disabled all the power management options in the BIOS. I even
reinstalled Media Center from scratch on another drive and before
installing
other drivers tried to put it on standby but still came right out of it

within seconds. I also noticed that in Device Manager, under Computer,
it
lists it as ACPI Uniprocessor PC while on another computer where
standby
works, its listed as ACPI Uniprocessor PC. Could this have anything to
do
with it? I've checked all the 'Allow this device to bring computer out
of
standby', they all seem reasonable. I've used msconfig to bring it up
with ony the barebones services, same problem. I haven't started
disabling services
yet...

Anyone has suggestions or has solved this problem??

Thanks much in advance

Open your BIOS and make sure to disable any
"Wake on LAN" or "Wake on Ring" settings.
