LAN wake up from Standby

Suddenly my PC wakes up from Standby when someone else on the LAN turns on
their's.
Networking Controller / Power Mgmt does NOT have a check mark under "Allow
this device to bring the computer out of standby"
Where else can I look?

In the BIOS for Wake on Lan or something similar.

Do you have "Wake on LAN" enabled? Is the other machine set to send a Wake
on LAN signal when it wakes up for some reason (highly nonstandard use of
WOL if that's the case...)

I don't have a wake on LAN setting in the bios.
My setting under Network Controller/Power Mgmt does not have wake on lan
enabled.
Still the other machine wakes this one up.

I have also seen Wake on Modem do the same thing.

Phone rings, Pc turns on.

They're not on the same outlet but probably on the same circuit breaker.
It hasn't done it when physically disconnected from the network.

Hmmm, did you make any changes to either computer or to the network before
this started happening? Falling short of that, I have no idea what would
cause it unless Wake on LAN or Wake on Link is turned on.
