I reloaded windows xp with my windows xp disc on my computer and it overrode
all the programs that I had on there, including windows documents, pictures,
etc.
Is there anyway possible I can get all these programs and files back

Sigh,

You need a program like "recover my files" its not cheap but it should do
the job.

Remember to backup your data before formating next time!
