I'm having a problem with my compaq presario s5100nx. It came with XP about
6 months ago and since I got it, it will not stay in standby mode. I mean,
the screen shuts off after the specified time and the system goes into
standby, but soon as it does that it turns right back on like as if I'd
moved the mouse or something. I've tried everything! Compaq hasn't been
much help either, they've had me reinstall everything, I've disabled all
programs from running in the background, I've even tried flipping my mouse
over in case maybe some vibrations were causing it to register unwanted
movement! Has anyone ever heard of this problem?
