I have had my computer with Windows XP for about 6 months. As of yesterday,
my computer won't shut down. When I click on "turn off" my computer just
restarts again. Does anyone know what may be wrong? Thanks for your help.

Your computer may be crashing on shutdown. By default, the computer will
restart automatically.

Go to My Computer | Properties | Advanced | Startup and Recovery - and
remove the check from "Automatically Restart".

Now when this happens you will be presented with a BSOD (blue screen of
death). Post the exact message you see here for possible assistance.
