For starters, you are on the edge of the minimum
requirements to run it, but if it ran before, I can't see
why updates would prevent it from starting up.

Try this:

Check and make sure the power supply is still working, do
you feel fans blowing? If so, next check your video
connection at the back, it could be loose. If thats good,
I'd open up the case and re-seat the video card and try
again.

If that doesn't help, try your video card and monitor on
another system. Just a word of warning: Make sure the
other system can handle the video card before you try it,
watch out for voltage differences: 3.3 volts (2x AGP),
1.5 volts (4x AGP), 0.8 volts (8x AGP). If its a PCI
video card, they are all 3.3 volts. And I believe PCI-E
is 0.8 volts.

At the very worst, it could be the motherboard or CPU.

Try the above and then we can go from there. I hope you
get it fixed.
