Computer will not switch off normally

Mike

Hi !
Help needed
When I go Start>Turn off computer>Turn off
The computer stays on " Windows is shutting down " and will go no further
If I try to switch off using the power switch, nothing happens
Pressing the reset switch re-boots the computer normally with no warnings or
errors
No new app's have been added only Win updates
The only way to switch off is by pulling the mains plug
When the computer is started again there are no warnings or errors
All spyware and virus software is running and up to date
Please advise a solution

Try holding down the power switch for 5-10 seconds.

There is a lot of good info on solving your problem here:
