everytime iam on the net my computer shuts down after a
while because of a remote server.

have i got a virus and how do i solve this prob.

You may have the MSBlaster Worm. Go to www.pchell.com and check.

Before one asks "have I got a virus" one should check with a different
anti-virus program. There are a few free ones that work fine.
