computer restarts automatic

my computer restarts when i turn on the computer and it load but when it says
welcome on my windows desttop it automatic restarts can anyone help?
 
Patty, on next startup tap F8 repeatedly until you get a start menu.
Select Safe Mode. If it works and WinXP loads
go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. Try a
restore back a week or so.
