I am trying to record from my Line-in. ALL software with a record
option (Windows Sound Recorder, Real Player, Pyro 5) all reboot when I
click on the record button. I have updated the BIOS, Chipset and Audio
card drivers to the most recent one provided by Intel. I am using
Windows XP Media Center. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

I have also tested the same record feature with a CD and have the same
problem. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated!

Disable System Retore, run your antivirus, run Spybot and/or AdAware
deleting/disinfecting anything they find, then reboot. Re-enable Sytem
Restore.
