Computer Randomly Shuts Down!

I have Windows XP and recently I have been having many
problems with it. My Computer will randomly shut down
and a blue screen with writing on it will pop up. At
first I thought it might be a internet related problem,
because the problem started to occur after I changed
internet services. However I was able to make contact
with my internet company and they said that since the
computer is shutting down even when I am not connected to
the internet, it must be a Mircosoft realated problem.
And I would really appreciate it if someone could help me
figure out what the problem it, because I feel that this
should not happen. My computer is fairly new, maybe two
year old at the most.
