I have a machine that is just a restricted user, and they
log onto my domain as a Domain User. Now, I have an old
printer on another machine I need access to the printer
preferences of, and even with full permissions, the button
is missing from the printer properties, and if I try to
access the preferences by right clicking on the printer I
get an error that it is "out of resouces". The print
spooler is up, everything is should work. This
configuration works on some machines, but not on half of
them.
If I let them log onto the domain as a Domain Admin, this
problem clears itself right up. I've tried everything I
can think of as far as permissions go. I've tried
delegating controls of printers objects, etc.. What is
Domain Admin doing for me that I am missing?
