Computer locks up on me

My computer freezes often when I playing a game, or have
more than a couple of internet windows open. It also
freezes momentarily when I move the mouse around and have
no applications running. It comes back to working status
an plays the windows XP logon noise. It will do this
several times in a minute. I have a HP, with windows XP
Pro. I tried reformatting the hard drive but the problem
is still there. I chend the RAM and that is ok. Any
suggestions out there?

Hello

Well could maybe, be video, drivers or even your power
supply to some degree, if you pc is still under warranty consider
having it checked out, before haivng to spend anything on it
