Hi Everyone,

A friend of mine moved his computer from one room to another. Before it
was moved everything was working ok. He re-connected all the leads and
switched it on but nothing happened. I looked at it and everything was
connected correctly. The Power lead is ok because there is a little
green light that flashes at the back that comes on when it is switched
on. I even jiggled the lead to see if there was a break within it, but
there wasn't. There is no noise at all like you would expect when you
switch on and the fan doesn't even start. I wonder if anyone has had a
similar problem, or better still, has a solution please.

Any ideas please.
All the Best.

Since Windows does not even start, this would be a hardware
question suited for a hardware newsgroup
(microsoft.public.windowsxp.hardware).

Appologies Pegasus, you are quite right.
I will try the group you suggested.
Thanks for the reply.

All the Best.
Paul
