My other computer (2,0GHz; 512 RAM; 80Gb; Windows XP Home edition) has become
really slow. It takes 10 seconds to open Internet explorer and when I try to
open some programs it crashes, it says that it "does not respond".
It happened all of a sudden, I don't remember exactly, but it could have
been right after I installed a patch for a game. I have uninstalled the game,
but I think it has nothing to do with it. When I check the CPU usage it says
100%, I have no idea how I can fix this. I don't see any unusual programs
running in the background that can take soo much memory. I have tried to
check for viruses, although I have a good protection, but the computer is so
slow it can't do it.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thankful for any replies
