Computer Hangs during Login

2 of my Windows XP Pro SP2 or (SP1) PC's Hang during Domain Login. Both of
these systems are shared and have over 5 User Profiles. The system hangs on
the "Applying your personal settings" screen for about 2 minutes or so. The
PC's work fine after the login. Has anyone experienced this? Please help.

I found the same thing when mapped network drives were not available. I
disconnected the drives and it is back to taking only a few seconds
after login.

Thank you for your prompt response. My mappings are via a Login Script.
Are you running login scripts as well?

Yes, but I had also mapped some other drives and XP apparently was
trying for quite some time at each login to reconnect. When I removed
the drives from Explorer, login time was greatly reduced.

I would also check Event Viewer to see if anything is showing up there
that may give you a clue to the long login time.
